On November 9, in Băicoi, Prahova County, the Alka volunteer team demonstrated once again that positive changes come through concrete actions and that respect for nature is a value shared by all participants.
In an atmosphere full of energy and enthusiasm, Alka volunteers, together with the most fierce environmentalists – children, contributed to planting saplings, bringing hope for the environment.
The “Plantăm fapte bune” project once again gathered motivated and involved people, all united by the desire to support the environment. In total, 13,000 saplings were planted: 9,100 pedunculated oaks, 1,300 cherry trees, 1,300 ash trees and 1,300 maple trees.
This substantial effort contributes to improving air quality, strengthening the community’s connection with nature and offering future generations a concrete example of environmental responsibility.
Although the effort was significant, smiles and positive energy dominated the entire day, and the involvement of the volunteers transformed this action into an event full of hope and dedication.
The children, with their genuine enthusiasm, learned through this experience what it means to take care of the planet. For many of them, the action was more than a volunteer activity – it was a life lesson. Every sapling planted, every effort invested in protecting nature showed that every small gesture can have enormous value when it comes to the environment.
Through constant participation in the “Plantăm fapte bune” project, Alka promotes a culture of sustainability and community involvement, supporting efforts aimed at ensuring a cleaner and healthier planet for future generations.
