For the second consecutive year, we are partners in the “ECO Summer School” project, the 4th edition, a free and interactive environmental education program for children in Bucharest.

We are deeply honored to be part of these programs, due to the major importance we attach to environmental education. We want to encourage curiosity and exploration among the little ones, transforming these workshops into an extraordinary opportunity to learn not only how to protect the environment, but also about the concrete ways in which each child can become an active agent of change in their community.

The workshops take place on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the month of July, at the Botanical Garden. They are aimed at children aged 7-11. Among other things, the little ones will learn: what responsible water consumption means, how to reduce food waste or how to collect waste separately. In addition, they find out what air pollution or energy efficiency means.

The themes are presented with the help of specially built models by the lecturers of the Nature Talks Association. In addition to the goodies prepared by Alka, the little ones have many other surprises.

Also, because we care about the well-being of the community to which we belong and the environment, we remind you of the environmental courses organized including during the Green Week – between April 22-26, for primary school students in Bucharest. These took place at the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, but also at the National Museum of Romanian Literature.

So, if you are from Bucharest, we invite you to enroll your children here and thus direct them towards a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle: https://www.naturetalks.ro/inscrieri/scoala-de-vara-eco
