On December 7, Alka responded to the invitation to take part in the IWA Charity Christmas Bazaar 2025, the largest international charity event in Romania, organized by the International Women’s Association (IWA) at the National Library. Now in its 33rd edition, the fair brought together more than 60 diplomatic missions and international communities, transforming the venue into a global hub of solidarity, culture, and generosity.
For the second year in a row, Alka joined the event with a significant contribution, offering over 1,000 products that were sold at the charitable stands. Visitors appreciated the quality of our products and the fact that they are made in Romania, thus helping raise funds for social projects with real impact.
The funds raised will support NGOs in Romania active in areas such as education, health, environmental protection, and assistance for vulnerable individuals, including projects dedicated to children with disabilities, such as Caiac Smile – “Together for a Dream.” Last year, IWA awarded nine grants, impacting more than 700 people, and we are proud to have contributed to the continuation of these initiatives.
The atmosphere of the fair was vibrant and multicultural: international artistic performances, handicrafts, cuisine from all over the world, and even a raffle with special prizes, including a 7-day trip to Greece offered by the Embassy of Greece.
Our participation reflects Alka’s commitment to the community and our desire to support projects that bring people together and create a positive impact. We strongly believe that simple gestures, made wholeheartedly, can change lives.
We are honored to be part of this initiative, responding to the invitation of Mrs. Marina Coandă Bundac, Chairwoman of the IWA Charity Bazaar, and we will continue to support events and causes that bring value to the community.
